WORSHIP MINISTRY during normal times. While we no longer have in person worship during this time of the corona virus you may access our Sunday worship services by logging on to the church website: and clicking on the Twitter bird icon. You may watch the service live on Sundays at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. or watch past services. The bulletin with all the words you will need to share in worship is on our home page and we encourage you to sing along with the few of us who are in the sanctuary. You may stop by the church on Sunday mornings to drop off a gift or pick up the daily devotional guide: The Upper Room.

During COVID times we are having a food distribution outside in the eastern parking lot on Thursdays at about 9 a.m.

COMMUNITY MINISTRY:  We participate in community activities which help to built strong relationships with our neighbors. Some of the activities and causes we participate in are listed below:

Broward Organized Leaders Doing Justice is a grassroots organization of religious congregations working to solve critical community problems. Most of our members are working and/or supporting  this organization.

We volunteer and partner with Branches at Thanksgiving preparing, packing and delivering meals to feed the less fortunate.

Branches was established in 1973 as the urban and social justice agency of what is now the South East District of the United Methodist Church. Up until 1999, Branches focused on grassroots organizing, advocacy and working with community members who were disadvantaged and/or experiencing social injustice. During this period, Branches focused resources in the areas of social crisis, immigration, housing, hospice care and hurricane relief, among others. Since 2000, Branches has embarked on developing and implementing programs that address the root causes of poverty and address immediate and critical needs. Today, Branches’ menu of services provides a continuum of support to community members to empower them to pursue life changing opportunities

A group of dedicated members who reach out to other members monthly to check on their welfare and spiritual health. Members encourage and provide necessary assistance and prayers for those in need. Doing care and developing a system of care is essential to every Church.

Our hospitality team provides refreshments for visitors and members after each service to welcome newcomers and engender interaction among all.  Meals and refreshments are also provided after special events and special services.

United Methodist Women- Miramar United Methodist Church has a Women's Group (UMW) which is affiliated with the national United Methodist Women Organization, which is involved in mission around the world.

All Miramar United Methodist Church women are encouraged to be a member of this group. Our current president is Ola Duhaney.

The purpose of the group: A community of women whose purpose is to know  God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ. To develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The group meets the third Thursday of each month in the Church Fellowship Hall (except during summer when the group is on break.)

UMM-Miramar United Methodist Men Group.

All Miramar United men are encouraged to join this group. The men meet on first Sundays after the 11 a.m. service and lend a hand in church activities. They organize and coordinate the annual Memorial Day picnic hosted on the Church grounds on the north field during which time we welcome the community to share with us.

Greeters are the first person you meet before worship and they welcome visitors and members at the entrance to the sanctuary, Ushers  welcome and escort visitors and members to their seats. They also provide visitors with a MUMC welcome gift.
