New Horizon UMC is hosting a Bible Study in the Century Village club house each Tuesday from 4 to 5:15. Please just show up. They are looking at the book of Acts at the moment.

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

Prayer concerns: Bettyanne and Alecia as they travel home, Randy, more talk about mental illness so we can find away to help those with depression, etc., Wilda & her surgery, Edie Dry, joy for Leo & Pat Samaroo as they thank God for the progress of their son Romel who has worked 7 years to get well and is now teaching & volunteering at rehab, look out for the homeless, more housing for the mentally ill and more subsidies for programs to help, for the many ways we can support BOLD Justice and make progress together, Heather’s mom, Devone as he helps troubled youth, refugees like the Kurds & others under assault, victims of typhoons, world peace, families of Pittsburg victims, Osborne’s mother & family for healing and strength, Claudette who lost daughter and all who mourn, for men to listen to their bodies and take advice from helpful family members, Paulette’s sister Dorthy, Lloyd as he travels to Jamaica.
