Events this week:

Today: Bible Study with Pastor Garnes at 10 a.m. There will be a sale of perishables and baked goods afterwards in the fellowship hall. Please also remember the Pre School book sale in the entrance hall, think ahead to Christmas presents! All are invited to help the UMW with the packing of gift baskets at 4:00 p.m. This will also be the youth group activity for the day.

Tonight: Prayer meeting 6:00 p.m.

Monday: Decorating the church for Christmas, also called “hanging of the greens” at 7:00 p.m. All welcome to join in.

Tuesday: Choir 7:00 p.m.  

Wednesday: NO Bible Study

Thursday: Branches Thanksgiving meal preparation and delivery, see Sharon Allen or Allison Feurtado if you would like to be a part.

Saturday: Tutoring 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Contact Lisa McKenzie, 954-249-9209

Next Sunday: Worship at 8:30 & 11, head ushers meeting after the 11:00 a.m. service.

Youth Fellowship for Middle and High School students will continue on Sundays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., Children’s Club for Elementary School students will be held on Fridays 12/2, 12/16

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service.

Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

Jessica Richards-Daley & family as they travel back from GA and for her brother Jesse, Jeannie thankful for good test results and asking that no property damage take place during protests, Maureen thankful to be called to praise God in times of distress, Mrs. Lettsome thankful for her stay here to help with her granddaughter and her son Clarence Hansby thankful for a good mother, Grandmas Hyacinth Robinson starting dialysis and Roland and Phyllis as they care for her, Shirley’s friend Claudia to get a job, Shirley thankful for being able to help someone walking to get home, Sonia’s grandson in Jamaica to be released after being wrongly charged, Annie’s brother James in hospice, Teonya as she travels to visit, for Jimmy Haynie’s brother Herman serving in Iraq and soon to go to Syria and for all our armed forces and veterans on the Veteran’s Weekend, for the serenity prayer to be a blessing in all our lives: “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.” Martha, Catherine Wheedleton, Mabel Bizzell, Dexter Kelly, Fay and family, Diane Unger, Johnathan Corbett, Nancy Bryer, Ellsworth & Darryl James and the James family, Shirley & family, Liz good health, for the Nation and Donald Trump, for America to heal & accept all people and embrace their differences, God’s grace & peace to all,  Tavon, Roger, Nikkie, Stacy, Brady, Angie, Pastor Garnes health & strength, Karen & Dennis Francis, Margaret Browne, Beto Dieguez, Val, Sonia, Dexter, Pam, Alethea, Sharon, Joan, Dorothy, Diane, Denese.
