Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting.  Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

The Christmas Concert this year will be on Sunday, December 21 at 6:00 p.m. and feature Steve Higgins and his group. See the insert for more details.

Come out to the Charge Conference today. Drivers are available, please meet them in our parking lot before 4 pm so that we can meet at 4:45 for worship at Plantation UMC, 1001 NW 70th Ave., Plantation 33313, phone 954-584-7500.

This Thursday will be the Issues Training session for BOLD Justice at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 7200 Davie Road Extension, Hollywood 33024, 954-963-0634. By coming to the meeting you will learn how we make decisions about the issue, this year "jobs, wages & unemployment" and see the process begin which eventually leads up to the Nehemiah Action. All invited.

You can be a part of the new Diabetes Support Group forming on the third Tuesdays of the month in the sanctuary. Stan Barnett is heading it up, please talk to him or call him on 954-893-5937.

All children are encouraged to bring canned goods for the procession of gifts at the beginning of both services next week. The food will be used in our food pantry and distributed to the needy in our community. Please give names of those who would appreciate a basket prepared by the UMW to the pastor.

Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday is Nov. 23. We need folk to bring fruit and vegetables to decorate on Saturday, especially sugar cane and a banana tree.  The committee is hoping that in lieu of a big banquet ticket that folk will put a generous donation of thanks in a special envelope for that Sunday.

Upper Room Daily Devotional Guides for November/December are available in both large and small print on the back table. Suggested contribution is $1.

The tutoring program for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders called Study Pals is beginning for those who need help in Reading, Writing and Math.  Coordinator Sharon Allen will be in the Fellowship Hall this week from 3 to 5 Monday to Thursday. Those interested in tutoring or being tutored are invited to come along or call Sharon on 954-963-3359.

Please remember that the Church has an account with the Car Program, Inc. which allows us to benefit from any cars (trucks, boats, etc.) donated in our name. Please call the church office for details as to how all the hassle can be taken out of the process of disposing of a car. The donor gets a tax write-off and the church gets a lump sum payment!.
