Next Sunday: Harvest Thanksgiving Services 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Please bring canned goods and other non-perishables to help our food pantry and those who the UMW will be blessing with a food basket. Children are invited to process with the food at the beginning of the service. Please come prepared for the harvest sale afterwards.

Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.


If you registered for the Holy Land trip, Feb. 27 to March 8, 2013 remember you need to make your $1500 additional payment by November 14. 

Prayer Concerns: Family of Peter Sotolongo who died on Oct. 31, for Greta Jarrett as she continues to improve, for Jeannie as she has a growth removed, for those recovering from the storm and expecting another one, for the UMW as they meet in Claremont for a conference, joy that Stephanie has had 5 awesome days in her new school, joy that Debbie’s resource day was successful, for the one who is having a lump diagnosed, joy that Flori’s sister Luz Da is doing well, for Randy feeling better and for him to get a job, for Jonathan’s coming to be with his father as he becomes a citizen, for Ana Lillian as she comes to care for Bettyanne who is getting surgery on Friday, for Bettyanne’s friend Steve and family upon the loss of his daughter, for Millicent Gardner who broke her ankle, for Ina’s family, for the persecuted church in India, Nigeria, China and Pakistan and other places, for Jessica’s father Jesse that he will not remain in his dark place, for Kishma’s medical procedure, for Morayma’s mom with colon cancer, for Brenda Robinson’s back surgery, for Adam Ramsey and all those returning from the battlefield, for the lives touched by Carla Williamson’s father and for her brothers and she to get closer, for Marcia’s good neighbors Christina and Orlando as they recover from their car accident, Pat thankful for sister Joan surviving storm and for those effected to get over it, traveling mercies as Stephanie Steward and family travel to Jamaica to lay Cynthia to rest and for her father Rudolph’s eye surgery, for Paulette’s surgery that it might be a success, for those whose marriage is in trouble, for Laura, James, Eleanor and especially MaryJane who is home after receiving a pacemaker, for Geneta’s nephew Kevin remembering his mother who died 10 years ago, for Lars Clunie and those who visit him in nursing home, for Everline who is depressed and all others diagnosed with cancer, for Melissa and her family during a difficult year of losing grandfather and having a two year old cousin drown and for have father in nursing home, for Leylah’s concerns, for New York looters and for all of us to be prepared for whatever comes our way--that we might know God’s light more in a dark world, for Ann and Sundie McBean, for Waldin not feeling well, for Kathy’s sister and cousin, for June and Nancy to find jobs and for Dorothy to continue to give thanks, for good health and peace.
