Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
The church is aware of the availability of a bed, walker and wheelchair that the owners are willing to give away. If you are interested please talk to Pastor David.
On Wednesdays, we continue our Bible study with Adam Hamilton’s book: Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today. Section One: The Nature of Scripture with chapters: What the Bible is not, A Biblical geography and timeline, The Old Testament in 15 minutes, Which books made it into the Old Testament and why, Jesus and the Old Testament, Prophecy-the Old Testament and the early church, The New Testament in 15 minutes, Reading someone else’s letters, Who really wrote Paul’s letters? How, When and why the gospels were written, The perplexing, puzzling, and profound John, Which books made it into the New Testament and why. You are invited to join us for this eye opening experience at 7:00 p.m.

Prayer Concerns: Joy that the city of Miramar decided on a police station construction project, for Sharon’s Blue Tree Cafe Taste Testing on May 31, for Clyde and family on the passing of his brother, for the kidnapped girls in Nigeria to be returned, for Melinda & Deborah who lost their mother, Jeannie to heal from her accident, Joy for all “Mothers” and those we had a chance to mentor, for the family of Eula’s adopted mother, Ina’s family, the 5th graders going to visit the Dept. of Justice, Alicia as she travels, Aloma joyful to have family present and the chance to mentor, Diana in CCU, Ramone Eldemire as moves into 3rd year medical rotation, the elderly as they need help crossing the road, Pat Mark and Greta Jarrett and Greta Cousins healing, Commissioner Wayne Messam at the loss of his father, Auntie Cherry after car totaled, family who have not been here for five years happy to be back, victims of gun violence, traveling mercies for Shannon & Olivia, Nicholas as he keeps improving in basketball, Jimmy’s aunt with stage 4 cancer, Pam McFarlane, mothers and men who serve as mothers, mother’s we can thankful who still look over us, for Lorretta as she goes in for surgery, the grieving Edwards & Marcario families, Marti, June, Danyelle, Andre, sister Diana, Danny to heal after heart attack, peace, love, happiness, good health, strength, Frederico and all those who feel sick and alone, to bless doctor’s in their work.
