Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.     

Pledge forms are on the back table for the Save Our Sanctuary (SOS) Campaign, please pick one up to fill in and place in the offering bag.

If you need anything during the service please contact one of the ushers, who will be wearing a multicolored stole/scarf. Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

The Birthday Recognition Fellowship Breakfast has continued with thanks to all who donated food, money and time towards the breakfast. It was made a success by those who were present and we look forward to doing it again next month.  All are invited and encouraged to come and share a continental style breakfast, supplemented with donated hot dishes. If you would like to offer a dish please speak to coordinators Maureen Chung (cell 305 469 2954 or or Angie Gentles (at cell 954-549-5788) or Karen Francis (at cell 954-292-2724.) We need a coordinator for food contributions from those who attend the 11:00 a.m. service.

Did you know the City of Miramar offers it residents many social services? Adult Day Care is provided M-F 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Senior Citizen Services has regular meetings and excursions and offers Meals on Wheels. Youth & Family services provides utility assistance, individual and group counseling. There are ballroom & meeting room rentals seating from 50 to 300. Prayer concerns from last week: Jhemelle at the passing of her father, elections in Colombia, Ruth & Ruthlyn, Jonathan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Wendy’s, Carolyn’s, Jackie’s, Sheri’s health,  Denese & her family at the passing of her uncle, Louise as she recovers from a car accident, Doug Okerson thankful to be home and for continued recovery, strength and patience for Judith, Willard’s aunt with cancer, Borrows family at time of loss, Sonia, Debbie & family, for young people in school to make better choices and not threaten others in school, thanks for Florida legislature who passed a gun control bill, Leyanna as she turns 17 thankful in these days when so many young people are losing their lives, for her work in her first job, Liezette joyful at getting a new job and how it will be a big change, Pat Mark’s sister Joan and daughter Amber as they try to deal with mental health issues, “God is our refuge and strength” Devone and other young people on spring break so that they may want to serve the Lord, parents and family of Jonathan Coombs at his loss, thanksgiving for Grace McCorkle as she turns 89 and for all the family, Marvia thankful for help on the road when tire blew out, thanks for Joyce Hemmans who is such a blessing to the church for all the things she agrees to do, Roger, Tavon, Nikkie, Stacyann, Angie’s family & friends, Allison’s friends having eye surgery, Kaye Campbell, Angie McBean, Catherine Wheedleton, Owen Wyman battling cancer, peace in the world that we might see each other as “our brother’s keeper,” Jacob’s family at loss of Mary, Tish Adams at the loss of her mother. Peace and love in the world.
