Thank God for summer time! However, the church’s bills still need to be paid. If we all work together to keep our tithes and offerings up we will have a smooth summer and be able to give God the glory for the things he has helped us do with the youth in VBS and camp and ... so much more.

This church supports BOLD Justice (Broward Organized Leaders Doing Justice) since it began over five years ago. In that time we have achieved the building of 2,322 units of affordable rental housing, a home ownership mortgage modification workshop that helped 3,544 families, an expansion of Drug Courts throughout Florida serving 2,00 0 people and saving $98 million tax dollars, helped streamline the unemployment registration process so that people got their benefits faster, and a pilot reading program which is helping 500 students through Direct Instruction. We are working toward this reading program being implemented in more schools and the provision of a preference for Broward County residents to be hired for jobs that our local government contract for.

Prayer Concerns: summer camp trip, Charles Robinson, Birdilyn Monteith, families, good health/healing, Cynthia Southwood-Smith and family, Nagwan in grief, for wife and husband, Greta Jarret with pneumonia, Andria Myrie, Jonathan Howard with cancer, joy for Vanessa, Nicole, Lisa, Sophia doing so well in school--praise God for a helpful church, for McCorkle and Kelly families.
