Image result for james 3:5-12 Volunteers urgently needed to help prepare turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner, in our annual outreach event in collaboration with Branches. Last year over 400 hundred people were fed. Please contact Allison 984 483 3792 for more information.

Feb. 11-21 trip to Israel. Please email Pastor David if you would like to go, or follow the brochure’s directions for booking in order to pay your deposit.

Registration is still open for the Pre School. Please contact the director Marleni Brant-Pomare at 954-981-9269. We are still accepting registration for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Classes started August 13.

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

If you need anything during the service please contact one of the ushers, who will be wearing a multicolored stole/scarf. Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

Prayer concerns from last week: Florie prayers for aunt Jo’s health, for Randy’s health, for my sister Luzda and my niece Lyanne to find a job and prayers for me, for Sonia, Dexter, Alhea, Joan, Dr. Katie, Curtis, Sharon, Saahna, Nadage, The Green family, Danyel, Andre, baby Brooklyns, Denese and myself, Dorothy, as I work through some issues, Karen Francis, Millicent Gardner & family, Rosemarie Nicholas, Michell Spence, Melba Smith and family and Joyce, for Virginia, Brenda, Arturo and family, for AJ to find work and for Jeannie who took a tumble, for Taron, Roger, Nikkie, Stayana, Richie, Angie’s friend and family, Ruth Cork Ramidy in her passing, continued prayers for peace in the world, law enforcement and for the family of Bo Jean, Margaret’s family losing a brother, for Bertha, for George’s 2 friends, for “give our kids a whirl” in Orlando, for the islands going through hurricanes, for Pat Mark’s friends and brother’s wife, Williams family, for Lorna and the Mckenzie family, Ivan Scott, Sophia’s high school trip to Yale, for Phyllis Hewitt, Jean whose son was killed , the people of St. Lucia, Dorothy’s neighbor who died of kidney disease, for Joyce’s sister and son, for Patricia with pancreatic cancer, for all the college kids, for Pam, for Michel travelling, for those undergoing serious surgery, for Bettyann traveling to Texas border to observe the immigration situation, for Farvia who had a stroke and for all the prayers not heard during prayer time.
