Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service.

Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN -BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

 

The Preschool asks that you continue to share information about their programs and the facilities with your family, friends and neighbors. As usual we appreciate your support.

Volunteers Needed for the next six weeks to help clean the church, hall and offices since our custodian is recovering from his fall. If you can help for a few hours on Monday or Saturday (or any day in between) please speak to the Trustees chair, Shirley Gregg-Leonce or Johnnie, or Pastor David. Thank you.

 

Teacher Fun Night at Dave and Busters for all 4th, 5th & 6th grade teachers at Oakwood Plaza, 3000 Oakwood Blvd., Hollywood, 33020 on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 4:30 to 6:30 but you must RSVP. Please see newspaper clipping on bulletin board by Pastor's study.

 

Please speak to Geoff McCorkle if you would like to join the new IT Worship Team. We may want to use Media Shout or similar software and your ideas may help us with design of worship services, new ideas for the production, and helping with the presentation on Sunday morning. The IT Worship Team will meet Oct. 18.  Call Geoff at 954-793-8821 for more information.

 

Prayer Concerns: Thanks for Edie Range's cancer count going down, for Jeannie looking for a job and with her aches and pains, Flori praising God for her own classroom, Natalie's brother's interview tomorrow, Kim thankful that surgery went well and for America's Quality Care, thanks for the blessing of youth interested in discussing the Bible and for the students to be able to share the gospel in school and for Somerset Central school, for Sheri facing biopsy, for Jack Stephens to get better after his injury, for the victims of air crashes, for the family of Sandra who reminded us "it is well with my soul" for Beulah who has lost her brother, for Lars after mini stroke, Spencer is praising God we have avoided hurricanes thus far, for Shannon's friend Fritz whose family has suffered so much but who remains happy, for Shirley's mother recovering well from surgery and preparing to do it again, for Alberta moving from ICU, for Kenneth rejoicing in good news from doctor, for the Walker family as they bury Fay's uncle, for Louise, Fred, Mary, James and Laura.
