Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you as our guest during and after the service.
Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting.  Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

The tutoring program for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders called Study Pals is beginning for those who need help in Reading, Writing and Math.  Coordinator Sharon Allen will be in the Fellowship Hall this week from 3 to 5 Monday to Thursday. Those interested in tutoring or being tutored are invited to come along or call Sharon on 954-963-3359

Please remember that the Church has an account with the Car Program, Inc. which allows us to benefit from any cars (trucks, boats, etc.) donated in our name. If you or anyone you know has a vehicle that they don’t want to go to the bother of disposing please call the church office for details as to how all the hassle can be taken out of this process. The donor gets a tax write-off and the church gets a lump sum payment!

Looking ahead to 2009, the church office is preparing to assign new envelope numbers. If there is anybody who attends regularly and is not a member and would like to be assigned an envelope number, please let the office know as soon as possible.

Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday is Nov. 23 but the Harvest Banquet Fellowship Dinner, a potluck, will be held on Saturday Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall. Please consider bringing your favorite dish and sign up in advance on the sheets provided in the foyer.  The committee is hoping that in lieu of a big banquet ticket that folk will put a generous donation of thanks in a special envelope for that Sunday.

The Christmas Concert this year will be on Sunday, December 21 at 6:00 p.m. and feature Steve Higgins and his group. Stay tuned for more details.

Upper Room Daily Devotional Guides for November/December are available in both large and small print on the back table. Suggested contribution is $1.

Please remember you have the opportunity to sponsor the bulletins for a week for $10 in honor or memory of a loved one or an important event in your life. There is a sign up sheet in the back of the church.
