Next Sunday: Service of baptism, Meeting with Broward County Commissioner Barbara Sharief to help anyone with past or current mortgage problems. Please bring your mortgage coupons, any letter about being behind or any foreclosure paperwork. She will be in each service and available to meet with people between services in the Fellowship Hall.

Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

 

Prayer Concerns: For the one who wants to get kids back, for help to deal with problems, for Evelyn and Diane, for those in the path of Hurricane Sandy, for Kathy’s sisters, for good health and peace in the world, for a family facing great troubles, for the pastor and church, for Greta Jarrett as she heals and looks forward to joining us again in worship, joy that wage theft ordinance has passed and that Commissioner Barbara Sharief was so open to our visit, for those who work hard and do not have appreciation shown to them, for the way this church works together for God’s kingdom, for those traveling to Jamaica, for Flori’s sister Luce going for surgery, for helpers for rides needed for patients receiving cancer treatment, for Marcia’s friends Tony and daughter Carla, for Velma who lost husband, for Franklin and Mazel as they travel, for Paulette going for cancer surgery, for Dalia as she travels to Honduras, for Daisy who has hurt her ankle, for Jack Gallagher who fell, for David Aitken who got “Student of the Month,” for the delight in all four seasons, joy that James Hodge is starting to eat better, for Karen taking joy in birthday and moving on from difficult times, for Melba’s family going through a difficult time.
