Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

Upper Room Daily Devotional Guides for November/December are available in both large and small print on the back table. Suggested contribution is $1.

The tutoring program for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders called Study Pals is beginning for those who need help in Reading, Writing and Math.  Coordinator Sharon Allen will be in the Fellowship Hall this week from 3 to 5 Monday to Thursday. Those interested in tutoring or being tutored are invited to come along or call Sharon on 954-963-3359

Please remember that the Church has an account with the Car Program, Inc. which allows us to benefit from any cars (trucks, boats, etc.) donated in our name. If you or anyone you know has a vehicle that they don’t want to go to the bother of disposing please call the church office for details as to how all the hassle can be taken out of this process. The donor gets a tax write-off and the church gets a lump sum payment!

Remember the Native American singing group, the trio, the Master’s Touch, who performed and testified in our church at the beginning of September? They are going to be at the church of Pastor David’s wife CJ, Cokesbury UMC, on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 7 pm.  The church’s organ was ruined in Hurricane Wilma and they are mounting a big fundraising effort to buy another one. You can get a ticket today from Pastor David or buy them at the door. Some people have preferred to give a donation. Suggested ticket price is $10. The church is at 1801 NW 65th Ave., Margate 33063 and can be found by driving north on the Turnpike to exit 66 which is Atlantic Blvd, turn left at the top of the exit ramp and go west on Atlantic until you cross over 441/SR 7, at the very next light after 441 (still going straight on Atlantic) you turn right on NW 66th Ave, at the second stop sign turn right and the first left is into the church parking lot, you can’t miss it! Alternately, if you want to travel up 441 it will take you a long time but go until you reach Atlantic, turn left, and take first right onto NW 66th, go to second stop sign and turn right and then left into parking lot.

Next Sunday there will be a light breakfast served after the 8:30 service and finger foods served after the 11 am service. Also Carla Williamson doing blood tests for diabetes. Pamphlets and other information will also be available as we participate in National ID Day (I Decide to fight diabetes Sunday) If you would like more call the American Diabetes Association at 1-800-342-2383

Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday is Nov. 23 but the Harvest Banquet Fellowship Dinner,

a potluck, will be held on Saturday Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall. Please consider bringing your favorite dish and sign up in advance on the sheets provided in the foyer.  The committee is hoping that in lieu of a big banquet ticket that folk will put a generous donation of thanks in a special envelope for that Sunday.
