This church supports BOLD Justice (Broward Organized Leaders Doing Justice) since it began over five years ago. In that time we have achieved the building of 2,322 units of affordable rental housing, a home ownership mortgage modification workshop that helped 3,544 families, an expansion of Drug Counts throughout Florida serving 2,000 people and saving $98 million tax dollars, helped streamline the unemployment registration process so that people got their benefits faster, and a pilot reading program which is helping 300 students through Direct Instruction. We are working toward this reading program being implemented in more schools and the provision of a preference for Broward County residents to be hired for jobs that our local government contract for. Thanks to all of you who have been supporters because you are shareholders or part owners when you invested in work of justice in Broward County through BOLD Justice.

It’s time again to think about Summer Camp! July 1-6, price $390. Aid is available.  Please see Pastor David for more details and for how to register.

Thanks to all who came to do justice on Monday’s Nehemiah Action, we secured commitments from three Broward County Commissioners to work for a local hiring ordinance, and are continuing to make progress in getting the Direct Instruction-Reading Mastery reading program into our elementary schools. What you did on this one night will help the research committees of Bold Justice to work effectively the whole year through.
