Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

Wesley Groups/small study groups are being held at three locations around our community. Food items needed for pantry, if you can help please bring in canned goods.

Next Sunday, the second Kids Birthday Club party will be held after the 11 o’clock service at about 12:30. Kids born in April, May, June received their invitation package in the mail with invitations for two friends. Please call the church office to let us know about your guests or if you have not received your package. All children are welcome.

The worship service can be seen and heard remotely in room 11 of the Pre School for those caring for small children who are having a hard time settling. We hope you can rejoin the service once your child is able to! Please supervise your children at all times, inside the sanctuary and in the Preschool area.

Sympathies to Mazie Fraser who lost her mother this past week, in Trinidad.

Salty Service cards are in your pew pockets. If you have done at least one hour of service this week please take one out and place it in the offering bag. This can be within or without the church, any time you help someone else.

Free VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) for all 4-year olds is available. Please see or call the Preschool director at 954-981-9269 for information and directions on where to register. Hurry! Space is limited.

HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION INFORMATION
You are eligible for the extra $25,000.00 homestead exemption tax if you are 65 or older as of January 1 of the year for which you are applying and the total adjusted gross family income does not exceed $25,873.00.  The deadline for late filing is September 18, 2009.
If you qualify for the senior exemption, you will be automatically exempted from the City of Miramar Fire Protection Assessment Fee.  The deadline for filing is July 31, 2009.  See Donna Simms if you need more information. You could save as much as $500.
