Today’s Mission offering is for Good Samaritan Fund which will be used this month for the Annual Conference Offering which Bishop Ken Carter has designated to go to scholarships at Africa University in the School of Theology (to help prepare pastors) and the Institute for Peace, Leadership and Governance, also the Young Adult Missional Movement for sending young adults for a year of service in Florida.)
Next Sunday’s is for Apportionments (World Service/Disaster relief, Interdenominational Cooperation, Ministerial Education, Black College Fund, Africa University, New Church Development, South FL Urban Ministries)

Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
 
The church is aware of the availability of a bed, walker and wheelchair that the owners are willing to give away. If you are interested please talk to Pastor David.
 
On Wednesdays, we continue our Bible study with Adam Hamilton’s book: Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today. We will look this week at Questions about the nature of Scripture and how does God speak through us. You are invited to join us for this eye opening experience at 7:00 p.m. This will be the last Bible Study until after summer.
 
Prayer Concerns: Family of man at Jeannie’s work who died at work, victims of the California shooter, Jessica’s father and Sean as they travel, Gary praising God for continued healing, Clyde’s wife to recover from what is causing her pain, Gomer diagnosis, Davanne as he has lost his Dad, for the window fund to grow, Iris Lake in ICU, Kathy Freit delighted with the birth of a new granddaughter Penelope, Olga and Kevin as they travel to see Adam Ramsey, Natalie & Andre as they travel to Jamaica, Fitzroy Huggins in a coma, persecuted Christians,  Tavon, Stacy, Nikki, Randy’s aunt, Val & Violet, Laura & James, Dorothy, Millicent, Mabel, Loretta, Lennox and his mother in Jamaica, brothers and sisters, for school, Jack, Reva, Silvia, Ana Lilian, those taking chemo & radiation, Grace’s family & neighbors, peace & unity in families, for a safe return of the girls in Nigeria, teachers as the school year comes to an end.
