News from the Pre-School:

Open registration for the upcoming school year on now! Space is now only available for VPK and 3 year-olds.

Jamaica Consul General Franz Hall invites us to celebrate the nation’s 55th anniversary of independence on August 6 at 4:00 p.m. at the Faith Center, 5555 NW 95th Ave., Sunrise, 33351. The Most Reverend Charles Dufour, Archbishop Emeritus of Kingston will be the guest preacher.

The church is looking for some videographers/photographers to record our events for the website and a promotional video. If you would be interested in serving in this way please speak to Pastor David.

The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. 

Prayer concerns: Healing for Judy Linton, God’s mercy and direction, Roger, Peaches, Tavon, Stacy, Angie’s family & friends, the persecuted church, oppressed, downtrodden, marginalized, unsaved, trafficked, abused, neglected, mentally ill, Val, Sonia, Pam, Dexter, Joan, Sharon, Dr. Katie, Curtis Bradshaw, Andre, Danyel, Dorothy, thank God for his blessings and that Pastor David is feeling better, always giving thanks, Maureen praying blessing on youth at camp and for Zion & Peyton, Devone & others in summer programs, Marvin, Betty, Shirley, Virginian, Jeannie’s test results, Dandre safe travels and protection from injuries, Gwen wishing us a happy summer as she leaves for vacation and for her daughter recovering from surgery, Raverly’s friend’s mom with cancer, Roy, Dorothy for all drivers to be courteous, for family of 18 year old killed before she could go to college, property tax relief, immigration help, Annette’s sister-in-law, Vinessa giving thanks even in times of loss and uncertainty, Judith Minott’s small group 23 especially Preston & Brooklyn and for healing from all the heartbreak in our families, Liezette thankful for passing exam with the message “keep your eye on the prize,” family of little boy who drowned, Pat joyful for Rene getting job in her field, concern for friend James Rose who was attacked & family, for those engaged in gang violence to stop, Zavier’s friend Bean to find good friends and to understand the Bible.
