Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you as our guest during and after the service. 

Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting.  Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. 

 

Those interested in a copy of the DVD of the Christmas Concert should see the UMM President Audley Codner to place their order.

New Members and confirmation classes are starting soon, please see the pastor if you are interested in joining the church. A New Members Session will be Sunday Feb. 10 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and the Confirmation Classes will run for ten  Sunday afternoons 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. starting on Feb. 17.

 

When someone from our local Bold Justice team asks you to be part of  the network of people coming to the Feb. 7 Rally and Feb. 21 Nehemiah  Action, please say yes!

 

Offering envelopes are available on the back table. If you do not see yours or if you would like to order a set for this year please speak to the Pastor or Kevin Ramsey.

 

Please pick up your Upper Room if you have not done so already. We have extras.

 

Sunday January 27 at 6:00 p.m., come join all the churches in our cluster, as well as Bishop Timothy Whitaker at Christ Church, Pompano Beach campus, as we celebrate the opening of Sanctified New Jerusalem Haitian Methodist Mission and pray with them a prayer of dedication. Worship will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, followed by a reception in the Whitworth Building. All are welcome. Plan to bring food to share (Take food to the Whitworth Building). Hope to see you there! 

 

Please keep in your prayers the former pastor here, the Rev. Denzil Southwood-Smith. He has been moved to Lifecare Center of Inverrary, 4300 Rock Island Rd, Room 252. Look for the building named “The Garden Plaza” and turn left.
