Bulletins today are given by Valarie Christie “in honor of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Enid Gooden’s 95th birthday”

Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you as our guest during and after the service.
Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting.  Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

This week, in preparation for the beginning of Lent, the children will be given Lenten Boxes to put loose money into.  They are to be brought back on Palm Sunday, March 16 to be placed on the altar, the money being used to help other children in the UM Children’s Home, Deltona, FL.

Nearby residents may wish to know that there is a "Tropical Homes
Neighborhood Crime Watch" which meets every 4th Wednesday of the
month at 7 pm at the Senior Center, 7667 Venetian St.  You are
encouraged to come and voice your concerns--to reduce crime in our
community, and to provide a safer neighborhood for our families.
Please see the back table for leaflets with the dates and area involved.

Donations of cars, trucks, boats and RV's are now being accepted by  MUMC.  When someone you know wants to get a tax write-off please let the Trustees (Johnnie Fitzpatrick or church office) know. It is quite simple and easy, we now belong to an organization that will do all the paperwork and take away the vehicle. The church gets a large percentage of the sale. Please get the word around so that we might benefit from anyone not wishing to go through the hassle of disposing of a vehicle.

Those who would like to have their photo up on the bulletin board please see Derrick Ruffin when he is here with his camera.

If you would like free help with your taxes you may attend the St. Thomas University School of Law Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program every Saturday until April 12 at 16401 NW 37th Ave., Miami Gardens, FL 33054. For more info., call 305-474-2415.

The purple bags of the Miami Rescue Mission are here again. The Hope Totes can be filled with the following: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, underwear, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, diapers, socks, brush, comb, tissues, Visine, hand or body lotion, disposable razors, sanitary napkins, sunscreen. (No cash please.) These will be passed out to the city's neediest members on Good Friday.
