Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service.
Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.
In addition to today’s Mission offering, we are making an appeal for contributions to help victims of four powerful typhoons in the Philippines. Please see the insert and give as generously as you are able. Thank you.
You are invited to bring toys for the Pre School children for those aged babies to 4 years old. You may bring for either a boy or a girl, wrapped or unwrapped, but if wrapped please designate what age it should be for. Please have donations in by Dec. 16--and thank you.
Wesley Groups: Stan Barnett’s group resumes meetings January 6, 2010. The Kumbayah group also resumes in January.
Please bring canned goods any time for the food pantry, so that weekly those who need it most may receive something from us.
Salty Service cards are in your pew pockets. If you have done at least one hour of service this week please take one out and place it in the offering bag. This can be within or without the church, any time you help someone else.
Also, all are invited to carry invitations to our church, and to our special events. Do this in your neighborhood by encouraging those you know best, indeed, those who know you best, to join us for worship, mission and the justice ministries we are about.
