Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

For our Lenten Wednesday Night Bible studies we are going to explore Adam Hamilton’s “Final Words from the Cross.” April 9 “I thirst” Lent is a great time to revive your Bible study practice!

 

The Bold Justice Jobs Committee is reminding everyone who is daytime available to attend the Broward County Commission meeting April 8 at 2:00 p.m.  We will all come dressed in red shirts or red blouses to these meeting and sit together to show the Bold Justice power in numbers.  The address of the Broward County Governmental Center in Fort Lauderdale is 115 South Andrews Avenue and the telephone number is 954-357-6789.  When you enter the building, tell the guard that you are going to the Commission meeting.  He will direct you to go to the 4th floor.  Be prepared to show identification.  You will then go through a safety checkpoint before entering the commission chambers.   It is extremely important now that we show our support to Commissioner Holness and this Workforce Investment Ordinance.

 

Prayer Concerns: Matthew, A.J as he starts his new job at Porter Paints, Jackie’s brother Don Kelly who hit his head, Marcia thankful for the promised $1000 for windows and the many other contributions towards this goal, Dario home safe, for those suffering clinical depression so they may seek treatment, teachers from a different culture, mentally ill, Kim’s mother, Pat as she travels to a conference, praise God for the church family trip to Morikami Japanese festival, Bettyanne raising money for cancer research and her rappelling 14 stories, for us all to confront our fears, James Hodge to heal, for those who grieve, for Greta Jarrett, thanksgiving for this hymn sing service designed by the Creative Worship Team and for installations in the overflow foyer, for Carla to get over pain, for Leyla and Gwen as they moves to Ohio and Fay as she misses them and for Leyla to continue to do well in school, for a safe delivery, for Marvia and others working with youth with the benefit of helping her stay young, for those in the Children’s Home, for thanksgiving for a bed to call your own, joy in seeing Ivor Stewart and his daughter Paulette with us, for Daisy’s joy in her birthday and the support of the church, for Yvonne, Sebert, Grace, Ana Lilian, Jorge, Julie, Jack, Federico, Paul and family, those who are alone/lonely, Diane Unger and those having chemo, World Vision, the unemployed, thank God for helping us solve our problems, traveling mercies, good health/healing, Edna, Alva, Luz Maria, Gilberto, Betty, Jonathan, Randy, Natalia, those suffering from anxiety.
