Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors.

The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

MUMW congratulates one of our own, Sis. Jeannie Grossman on assuming

the position of Communications Coordinator with the District. We know that she will do very well in this position and wish her every blessing.

Please start preparing to bring in canned items for the harvest thanksgiving processions at the 8:30 and 11:00 service on November 21. At that time we encourage all families with children to have the children bring forth the non-perishable items so that we may give them away in the UMW baskets during Thanksgiving week and to stock our food pantry.

The Traveling Bassinet will be here at this church for an additional month so if you missed the opportunity to bring baby supplies for mothers in need, you can still contribute in the month of November. We are grateful to all who have given so far and encourage others to do so.

Pastor David has started a new course on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. created for those who would like to explore the meaning of the Christian faith. It is especially good for those adults thinking of joining the church but it is open to everyone. The Alpha course has been held all over the world and covers these topics: Why and How to read the Bible? Why and How Do I Pray? How Does God Guide Us? Who Is the Holy Spirit? What Does the Holy Spirit Do? How Can I Be Filled With the Spirit? How Can I Resist Evil? Why and How Should We Tell Others? Does God Heal Today? What About the Church? How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?

The next ALPHA study will be on November 10. The topic: "Why and How Do I Pray?"

Our “Home Grown” Christmas concert is right around the corner! If you are planning to perform, say a poem, do a skit, etc., please tell Fay Harley, Donna Simms or Pastor David as soon as possible, so we can begin to prepare for a really outstanding event. Thanks!

Please remember you can dedicate bulletins to the memory or honor of a loved one for a minimum contribution of only $10.

Lost and Found. A pair of glasses with a chain for securing it around the neck, was found in the sanctuary.  Possibly they were left two weeks ago or during the recent funeral. Please call the office if they belong to you.
