Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.

This Friday, there will be a Fish Fry sponsored by the United Methodist Women

Here at the church. Please place orders with Val Christie (954 394 0694) or Jeannie Grossman (954 558 8940) so we can make sure we have adequate supplies of fish.

Thanks to all who contributed to the Haiti appeal, we have sent off $463 to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).

Please start preparing to bring in canned items for the harvest thanksgiving processions at the 8:30 and 11:00 services on November 21. At that time we encourage all families with children to have the children bring forth the non-perishable items so that we may give them away in the UMW baskets during Thanksgiving week and to stock our food pantry.

Please remember the Traveling Bassinet is still here and will be throughout the month of November. Please take the opportunity to bring baby supplies for mothers in need. We are grateful to all who have given so far.

Pastor David has started a new course on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. created for those who would like to explore the meaning of the Christian faith. It is especially good for those adults thinking of joining the church but it is open to everyone. The Alpha course has been held all over the world and covers these topics: How Does God Guide Us? Who Is the Holy Spirit? What Does the Holy Spirit Do? How Can I Be Filled With the Spirit? How Can I Resist Evil? Why and How Should We Tell Others? Does God Heal Today? What About the Church? How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?

Our “Home Grown” Christmas concert is right around the corner! If you are planning to perform, say a poem, do a skit, etc., please tell Fay Harley, Donna Simms or Pastor David as soon as possible, so we can begin to prepare for a really outstanding event. Thanks!

Please remember you can dedicate bulletins to the memory or honor of a loved one for a minimum contribution of only $10.

Lost and Found. A pair of glasses with a chain for securing it around the neck, was found in the sanctuary.  Possibly they were left two weeks ago or during the recent funeral. Please call the office if they belong to you.
