Events this week:
Today: Birthday Recognition Fellowship Breakfast in between services. All those born in June should sit at the top table. The United Methodist Men meet after the second service. At the same time the women are invited to stay to rehearse their song for Father’s Day. Prayer meeting 6:00 p.m.
This week is Annual Conference in Orlando, Pastor David, Lay Leaders Judith Pierre-Okerson, Marvia Aitken, and lay representative Sophia Williams will be attending.
Thursday: Pre-School Graduation 9:00 a.m.
Saturdays June 10 and 17 Sherryann Wilson and nurses from her school are giving free health screenings in our church from 8 a.m. to noon, all welcome.
Next Sunday: Multicultural Sunday one joint 10:00 a.m. service. Please wear clothes that highlight the culture of your country of origin and bring a display and food for the Fellowship Hall after the service. Set up for VBS at 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 9 after each service reps from the Broward Property Appraiser’s office will be available to explore how you may save money on your property taxes. VPK Graduation June 8 at 9:00 a.m. with breakfast served after the ceremony.
The church is looking for some videographers/photographers to record our events for the website and a promotional video. If you would be interested in serving in this way please speak to Pastor David.

tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
Prayer concerns from last week: Veterans on this Memorial Day weekend and our picnic, Gerald Porter to be protected from dementia, Beverly’s uncle John undergoing back surgery, joy that Teresa is now speaking a few words since a drunk driver hit her in 2015 and for all to be safe on the roads, Dorothy thankful for prayers after her incident, for Rev. Keith Wray & his wife at the 50th Anniversary of their ministry, Roy with a brain bleed, Teneshia joyful to be teaching real estate at Miami Dade College again, Doug Okerson’s biopsy results, Jeannie happy to get good test results, for her friends Marvin, Shirley, Betty and Virginia, Milton & Jennifer Lindo health concerns, Devone happy to have his last day of high school and looking forward to learning at FAMU in 3 weeks, joy that Fallon can be in worship after her health scare and for Vaneker Johnson and all those who mother all the time and the whole MUMC family, Vinessa and family helping heal Kenowin, Jackie McCorkle & her sister Marcia Kelly with many health concerns, Pauline Bowyer thankful her relative’s were not injured in Manchester bombing and praying for victims and the terrorist who are so mis-guided, Devon Dillon as he recovers from his accident, Audley Codner and the rest of the older generation so thankful for the progress of our young ones who are now so able, like Josh Minott reading the scripture, Venetia & Edith Bryan, Ralston Gardner, Roger, Tavon, Nikki, Stacy, Angie, for guidance, strength, Roy, Val, Sonia, Pam, Dexter, Alethea, Joan, Sharon, Dr. Katie, Dorothy, Denese, Karen & Dennis Francis, Rosemarie Nicholas, Browne family, Mabel Bizzell as she celebrates another birthday, Daynon, Catherine Wheedleton, Alean Stephens, Roger Pierce, Tony Bell, the persecuted church, the displaced, abandoned, oppressed, downtrodden, terrorized, Joe with cancer, Silvera, Francis, Nicholas, Decker, A.J. as he starts a new job on Tuesday, children and families to be impacted by VBS, Grace DeFalco.
