Saturday: Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. for George Codner.

Next Sunday: Worship services at 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. Recognition of Veterans and Graduates, during the services. If you know of any grads please give their name to Donna Simms.

Looking Ahead:

Monday May 27 Memorial Day Picnic, 12-5:00 p.m. Contributions of any amount may be given to John Tapper, Fred Mills or Lloyd Daley or anyone in the Men’s Fellowship. If you are going to donate items please let these men know the quantity and when you will bring the items.

Wednesday May 29 Pre School Dance recital 6:00 p.m., followed by the regular Bible Study at 7:00 p.m.

Friday May 31 On Mission Together 3-D night starts at 7:00! All welcome for Dessert…Discussion…Dedication. Please return inserts today.

Saturday June 1 On Mission Together visiting our neighbors starting at 3:00 p.m. with fellowship in our hall and visiting between 4 and 6:00 p.m.

Dear congregation, you can make donations to the church through the Vanco electronic giving system. This allows for regular giving to take place according to your preferences. You can set up your giving profile or have the church office help you to do so. Please consider this method of giving.

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

Happy Mother’s Day to all who serve as a nurturing presence, blessing for Maureen & her grandchildren, Flori’s Lorna to get visa, Sheila thankful for aunt’s healing progressing, Virginia, Brenda, Mercedes, Sherry, Elsie after a scare with medication, those Christians who have escaped death & persecution & those who still face into it, traveling mercies for Helene’s son George, his wife & her sister, Vinessa 42 year old colleagues family at his unexpected passing, that we may all take good care of ourselves & have faith in God, Carlton Douglas and for all of us to be ready to meet our Maker, family of George Codner at his passing especially his wife of 63 years Carrol, James family, Kathy as she travels to Atlanta to celebrate family accomplishments, family of LaJuan Goodwin, Catherine Wheedleton, Mabel Bizzell, Diane Dunn, Pam Stubbs, Owen Wyman, Frank Overstreet, Carrie Soto, Donna Leland, the Williams family, Tamara, Laura & James, the family of Maud Gray thankful for the support for the family through her sickness & passing especially Gwen & Joyce, those who are missing their mother today such as Millie, Margaret thankful for life being spared & for her son as he travels back to GA, Karen Francis, Millicent Gardner, Mabel Bizzell, Shirley Gregg, Rosemarie Nicholas, the Browne family, Janet & Florrette’s family, healing prayers for Ana Marcela, Sheri Berman, Willard Kennedy, Camille as she recovers from surgery, Pam, Dexter, Cherry, Joan, Sharon, Curtis, Dr. Katie, Nadage, those seeking employment, peace, love, tolerance, empathy in the world, the troops & their families, AJ to find work, Jeannie’s health, sick & shut in, persecuted Christians, Althea Phillip, praise for Megan’s 21st birthday, Carolyn to receive help from insurance company
