June 11-15 Vacation Bible School. Please return insert to volunteer.

July 2-7 Summer camp week for the church youth. One month till all payments are due.

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

If you need anything during the service please contact one of the ushers, who will be wearing a multicolored stole/scarf. Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

Pledge forms are on the back table for the Save Our Sanctuary (SOS) Campaign, please pick one up to fill in and place in the offering bag.

Mayor Wayne Messam, Commissioner Darline Riggs and Consul General Stephane Giles, invite you to celebrate Haitian Flag Day, Thursday May 17 at Miramar Cultural Center, featuring art exhibits and a jazz concert at 7:00 p.m. This is a free event but tickets needed for entry and can be picked up at the Cultural Center. Or see Lorna McKenzie & Marvia Aitken. This gathering is in lieu of the May UMW Movie night agreed upon It will serve as a “Fresh Expression” where we can relate to others where they are and invite them to our church.

The Birthday Recognition Fellowship Breakfast has continued with thanks to all who donated food, money and time towards the breakfast, and we look forward to doing it again next month. All are invited and encouraged to come and share a continental style breakfast, supplemented with donated hot dishes. To offer a dish, speak to coordinators Maureen Chung (cell 305 469 2954 or or Angie Gentles (at cell 954-549-5788) or Karen Francis (at cell 954-292-2724.) We need a coordinator for food contributions from those who attend the 11:00 a.m. service.
