Nearby residents may wish to know that there is a "Tropical Homes
Neighborhood Crime Watch" which meets every 4th Wednesday of the
month at 7 pm at the Senior Center, 7667 Venetian St. You are
encouraged to come and voice your concerns.
Donations of cars, trucks, boats and RV's are now being accepted by MUMC. When someone you know wants to get a tax write-off please let the Trustees (Johnnie Fitzpatrick or church office) know. It is quite simple and easy, we now belong to an organization that will do all the paperwork and take away the vehicle. The church gets a large percentage of the sale. Please get the word around so that we might benefit from anyone not wishing to go through the hassle of disposing of a vehicle.
Those who would like to have their photo up on the bulletin board please see Derrick Ruffin when he is here with his camera.
The purple bags of the Miami Rescue Mission are here again. The Hope Totes can be filled with the following: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, underwear, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, diapers, socks, brush, comb, tissues, Visine, hand or body lotion, disposable razors, sanitary napkins, sunscreen. (No cash please.) These will be passed out to the city's neediest members on Good Friday.
