Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.     

Pledge forms are on the back table for the Save Our Sanctuary (SOS) Campaign, please pick one up to fill in and place in the offering bag.

If you need anything during the service please contact one of the ushers, who will be wearing a multicolored stole/scarf. Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

The Birthday Recognition Fellowship Breakfast has continued with thanks to all who donated food, money and time towards the breakfast. It was made a success by those who were present and we look forward to doing it again next month.  All are invited and encouraged to come and share a continental style breakfast, supplemented with donated hot dishes. If you would like to offer a dish please speak to coordinators Maureen Chung (cell 305 469 2954 or mchung2@bellsouth.net) or Angie Gentles (at cell 954-549-5788) or Karen Francis (at cell 954-292-2724.) We need a coordinator for food contributions from those who attend the 11:00 a.m. service.

Did you know the City of Miramar offers it residents many social services? Adult Day Care is provided M-F 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Senior Citizen Services has regular meetings and excursions and offers Meals on Wheels. Youth & Family services provides utility assistance, individual and group counseling. There are ballroom & meeting room rentals seating from 50 to 300. Prayer concerns from last week: Deslyn’s mother after stroke, families mourning from bridge collapse, Sonia eye healing, Debbie & family, Judith Pierre Okerson & family (Grace, Moriah, Sydney) for comfort at the loss of her husband Doug, Bruce & Marcia Kelly, Sonia as she goes for surgery, Elroy her husband, Gwen thankful to have us sing “And can it be” in honor of her sister, Liz safe travel to Jamaica, Roland as he seeks relief from rotator cuff pain, Cathy & Laura also in pain, Keisha, Dorothy, James, Spencer joyful for placing well in karate tournament, Eula thankful for walks and the help they are to lower blood pressure, Dorothy Lawrence glad to be out of hospital and thankful for doctors & nurses who brought her back to life, Mellonie & her sons as they travel, Carol joyful that George could be in church, nephew Howard in coma, Audley thankful he was asked to bring in soup and therefore could fix his car before he would have missed service, Diane Ogren as she mourns her son, Catherine Wheedleton, Owen Wyman, Alean Stephens, Josh as he undergoes oral surgery, Joseph that his adoption may run smoothly and quickly, Sonia, Pam, Dexter, Alethia, Sharon, Althea, Curtis, Dr. Katie, Denese, Dorothy especially for interview, Sheri Berman, Sheri’s cancer treatment, aunt Jo, Carolyn, troops, peace love, & tolerance, all sick.
