*Hymn 139 Praise to the Lord the Almighty
1 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise him, for he is thy health and salvation!
All ye who hear, now to his temple draw near,
join me in glad adoration.

2 Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigning;
Bears thee on eagle’s wings, e’er in his keeping maintaining!
God’s care enfolds all, whose true good he upholds.
Hast thou not not known his sustaining?

3 Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
surely his goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
Who with his love doth befriends thee.

4 Praise to theLord, who doth nourish thy life and restore thee,
Fitting thee well for the tasks that are ever before thee.
Then to thy need God as a mother doth speed,
Spreading the wings go grace o’er thee.

5 Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before him!
Let the Amen sound from his people again;
gladly forever adore him.

How Great Is Our God
How great is our God, how great is his name
He’s the greatest God, forever the same
He rolled back the water from the mighty red sea,
He said I need you, won’t you trust in me.

I Will Celebrate
I will celebrate, sing unto the lord,
I will sing to him a new song
I will celebrate, sing unto the lord,
I will sing to him a new song

I will praise him, I will sing to him a new song
I will praise him,  I will sing to him a new song
Hallelujah……. Hallelujah,
Hallelujah……. Hallelujah,
Hallelujah……… Hallelujah,

I Love Him Better
I love him better every d-a-y
I love him better every d-a-y
close by his s-i-d-e- --
I will a-b-i-d-e
I love him better every d-a-y

He Is Here, Hallelujah
He is here, hallelujah
He is here………a-men
He is here…….. holy holy
I will bless his name again

He is here…listen closely
Hear him calling out your name
He is here…. you can touch him
You will never be the same

Into My Heart
Into my heart….into my heart
Come into my heart Lord Jesus
Come in today….come in to stay
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus

Responsive Reading 746 (Psalm 13)

1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me for ever?
   How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I bear pain in my soul,
   and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
   How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

3 Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
   Lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
4 lest my enemy say, ‘I have prevailed’ over him;
   Lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.

5 But I trusted in your steadfast love;
   My heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord,
   for the Lord has dealt bountifully with me.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

Scripture: Romans 6:1-14

Children’s Time

*Hymn 129 Give to the Winds Thy Fears
1 Give to the winds thy fears,
hope and be undismayed;
God hears thy sighs and counts thy tears;
God shall lift up thy head.

2 Through waves and clouds and storms,
God gently clears the way;
wait thou God’s time, so shall this night soon
end in joyous day.

3 Leave to God’s sovereign sway
to choose and to command.
so shalt thou, wondering, own that way,
how wise, how strong this hand.

4 Let us in life, in death,
Thy steadfast truth declare,
and publish with our latest breath
thy love and guardian care.

Prayer Hymn 396 O Jesus, I Have Promised
1 O Jesus, I have promised
to serve thee to the end;
be thou forever near me,
my Master and my Friend;
I shall not fear the battle
if thou art by my side,
nor wander from the pathway
if thou wilt be my guide.

2 O let me feel thee near me!
The world is ever near;
I see the sights that dazzle,
the tempting sounds I hear;
my foes are ever near me,
around me and within;
but Jesus, draw thou nearer,
and shield my soul from sin.

3 O let me hear thee speaking
in accents clear and still,
above the storms of passion,
the murmurs of self will.
O speak to reassure me,
to hasten or control;
O speak and make me listen,
thou guardian of my soul.

4 O Jesus, thou hast promised
to all who follow thee,
that where thou art in glory
there shall thy servant be;
and Jesus, I have promised
to serve thee to the end;
O give me grace to follow,
my Master and my Friend.

Pastoral prayer and Lord’s Prayer

Let us share together The Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven:
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen.

Sermon Living between verses, living with feet in your shoes

*Hymn of sending forth 373 Nothing Between
1 Nothing between my soul and my Savior,
naught of this world's delusive dream:
I have renounced all sinful pleasure,
Jesus is mine, there's nothing between.
Nothing between my soul and my Savior,
so that his blessed face may be seen;
nothing preventing the least of his favor:
keep the way clear! Let nothing between.

2 Nothing between like worldly pleasure,
habits of life tho' harmless they seem,
must not my heart from him ever sever,
he is my all! There's nothing between.
Nothing between my soul and my Savior,
so that his blessed face may be seen;
nothing preventing the least of his favor:
keep the way clear! Let nothing between.

3 Nothing between like pride or station:
self or friends shall not intervene;
Though it may cost me much tribulation,
I am resolved! There's nothing between.
Nothing between my soul and my Savior,
so that his blessed face may be seen;
nothing preventing the least of his favor:
keep the way clear! Let nothing between.

4 Nothing between e'en many hard trials,
though the whole world against me convene;
watching with prayer and much self denial,
I’ll triumph at last, there’s nothing between.
Nothing between my soul and my Savior,
so that his blessed face may be seen;
nothing preventing the least of his favor:
keep the way clear! Let nothing between.
