Monday: Admin Council 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday and every Tuesday: Narcotics Anonymous meeting at 7:00 p.m. in our fellowship hall. Last week they celebrated 34 years in our facility!

Tuesday: Community Meeting at 7:00 p.m. If you live within Utopia Drive, Pembroke Road, the Turnpike, and Miramar Parkway this is your meeting. Come to express concerns and find out how the City of Miramar representatives can help you.

Wednesday: Outreach Committee, 7:30 p.m.

Next Sunday: Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. with the Birthday Recognition Fellowship Breakfast in between. Those born in July should sit at the head table. All welcome.

Pastor David is thankful today that he can be with his wife, the Rev. C.J. Walter, and the congregation of Cokesbury UMC on her last Sunday as pastor before her leave of absence, and to celebrate her ministry in Margate. They will welcome the new pastor, the Rev. Joseph Kim, his wife Grace, and children Esther & Sam.

Registration is now open for the Pre School. Please contact the director Marleni Brant-Pomare at 954-981-9269. Classes fill up so do not hesitate — first come, first served. Summer program still available. Regular classes start August 13.

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back-parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

If you need anything during the service please contact one of the ushers, who will be wearing a multicolored stole/scarf. Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

Pledge forms are on the back table for the Save Our Sanctuary (SOS) Campaign, please pick one up to fill in and place in the offering bag.

Prayer concerns from last week: Louise Thermilus, Joan Redlhammer, Cyrus, all fathers, Marjorie Champagne, asylum seekers, families broken up by our immigration procedures, Heather’s family and friends, Willard Kennedy seeking your guidance in a move, Amber Mark as she starts a new degree course, Pat Mark and others experiencing an empty nest, Shirley Lindsay as she travels to Canada for a bereavement, Dawnette rejoicing in her sister finding a home and thankful that we sung the hymn which was a favorite of her father’s, Fabulon thankful to have his wife here after a long struggle with cancer, thanks for the Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School and all who took part—thankful that Jesus still rescues, Martha Royce who lost her husband, for cousins in England, Flo’s neighbor who lost her mother just before the birthday party, James, Keisha, Dorothy & Laura, joy with George Codner in worship, Ella’s boyfriend through the ups and downs of life, thanks for the Men’s Fellowship who are doing so much that God might continue to bless and build up even more, Vilma Walker as she returns with Amari and for Deleene as she continues to recover, Maud Gray walking, Charles Griffin, Sr., John List family in loss of Eileen, Fay Mills for healing, Karen Francis, Millicent Gardner & family, Mabel Bizzell, Debbie McLune, Shirley Gregg, Paul Barclay, Mike Stull, Sheri Berman, Olufunke R.
