Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

Thank God for summer time! However, the church’s bills still need to be paid. If we all work together to keep our tithes and offerings up we will have a smooth summer and be able to give God the glory for the things he has helped us do with the youth in VBS and camp and ... so much more.

Cokesbury UMC, 1801 NW 65th Ave, Margate is having a Fish Fry to aid their Food Bank on Friday, Aug.2 with seatings at either 4:30 or 6 p.m. Call 954 972 3424 for tickets which must be purchased by July 26. Adults $8 and children under 12 are $4. Menu: Fried Fish, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Beverage.


This church supports BOLD Justice (Broward Organized Leaders Doing Justice) since it began over five years ago. In that time we have achieved the building of 2,322 units of affordable rental housing, a home ownership mortgage modification workshop that helped 3,544 families, an expansion of Drug Courts throughout Florida serving 2,00 0 people and saving $98 million tax dollars, helped streamline the unemployment registration process so that people got their benefits faster, and a pilot reading program which is helping 500 students through Direct Instruction. We are working toward this reading program being implemented in more schools and the provision of a preference for Broward County residents to be hired for jobs that our local government contract for. 


Prayer Concerns: good health and healing, for Cynthia suffering from depression, needy/unemployed, Ms. Keen with cancer, friends made at camp that campers may stay in touch and continue their walk with God, those going through mortgage modifications and foreclosures, Mrs. Gordon pain in hip, Cynthia and family on loss of Norris, for George and Louise for health, Clive, traveling mercies to Canada, Andre’s bar exam, Dorothy and co-workers, Remae who lost mother, financial aid for school goers, Clyde procedure, Faustina and Rose, Ina & Joseph, A.J., UMW Mission U. trip, unemployed people of St. Croix, Jessica medical issues/job demands, Eula’s Dad for wisdom in decision making, Melissa, Liezette’s Mexican exchange family, Roy’s joy in reuniting with his daughter & catching suspect, Shield family, MaryJane happy to be in Georgia, Pam and her twin sister as they celebrate another year of life confront medical challenges, for the residents of the Children’s Home especially Cari with heart surgery, joy in camp trip going so well, thanks for the new chance to recycle in Miramar with blue bins, Jean joy in going from homeless to being in Embry Riddle school, Shirley’s brother public defender and daughter for protection, Stevenson family as they make decisions, for Shirley and Codner family.
