If you know any person currently undergoing chemotherapy there is a cleaning service that provides free housecleaning once per month while they are in treatment. All they have to do is sign up and have their doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. “Cleaning for a Reason” will have a participating maid service in their zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these persons. Be a blessing to someone and pass this info along: http://www.cleaningforareason.org.

Here's a gift idea for the youth in your life! If they are thinking of going to summer camp next year our group would be hoping to go July 4-9 and early in the new year we need to send in our registrations and scholarship forms. Why not give them the gift of the registration fee of $75 or even sponsor an additional amount to help them pay for the total camp fee of $380? See Pastor David or Fay Harley for how you can do this.
Pastor David will resume the Alpha Course on Wednesday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. created for those who would like to explore the meaning of the Christian faith. Especially good for adults thinking of joining the church but it is open to everyone. The Alpha, held all over the world, covers these topics: How Can I Resist Evil? Why and How Should We Tell Others? Does God Heal Today? What About the Church? How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?
Offering envelope books for 2011 are available today so please make sure you pick up yours on the back table. If you are claiming your contributions to this church on your IRS form for the year 2010 the IRS will require the contribution statement the church will provide you. The church is happy to supply you with documentation of your gifts.
Please remember that there are Upper Room Devotional Guides available in the back of the church. Suggested contribution is $1. Do you have yours for January/February?
