Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.
The Singles Ministry for all in their twenties upwards will be starting Jan. 17, time and place to be determined. Please contact Val Christie at 954-394-0694 or Sheila Riley at 754-234-6842 for more info.
We’re having a Birthday Party the third Sunday of every month after the 11:00 a.m. service for those 12 years and under. Please look for the sign up sheet and sign up your children. We want no child left out!

Broward County Public Schools is hosting an “Educational Engagement Fair” on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009 from 9 am to noon at McFatter Technical Center, 6500 Nova Drive in Davie. This is an outreach to those who have dropped out of school. Students will learn about the options available to them for getting their diploma. It’s never too late to graduate is the message. Please see the poster on the bulletin board.
College aged kids--have you thought about your summer job yet? You might want to think about being on the leadership team at the Warren W. Willis UM summer camps. If selected, each Team Member serves from May 28 through August 9, you receive room and board and a minimum of $1675 for the summer. See Pastor David if you want to begin the application process.
Please remember that there are Upper Room Devotional Guides available in the back of the church. Suggested contribution is $1. Do you have yours for Jan./Feb.? Also, the January Pockets magazine is available for the young people.
Offering envelope books for 2009 are now available. Please remember to pick up yours on the back table. If you are claiming your contributions to this church on your IRS form, the church is happy to supply you with documentation of your gifts.
Would you like to be a Census Taker or Census Crew Leader or Census Recruiting Assistant or Census Clerk? Our Fellowship Hall will be open Thursdays Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29 and Sat.
