Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
His House needs help. We were able to give food at Thanksgiving but they really need folk who will help them care for the children who are referred to them--especially to adopt them. For more information see Pastor David, Fay Harley, Joyce Hemmans, Roland Abel, or Jeannie Grossman--who have all been there to visit His House.
If you think God might be calling you to ministry in the United Methodist Church, this Website is for you: http://www.mycallfl.org
From participating in our New Realities Coaching we have decided to begin to hold Creative Worship Planning meetings once a month at 6:30 p.m. for one hour. We are open to suggestions about how we might enhance our worship with new ideas, improved technical skills, and more participation. If you would like to be a part of this new thing that God is doing please speak to the pastor or just come to the first meeting, Monday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m.!
Volunteers needed to help with the new Welcome Centers--one in the foyer, one outside in the front entrance area. We need folk to be present after each service to talk with visitors about the church and to offer refreshments to newcomers. Please speak with Pastor David or Kathy Kelly if you can help.
