This church supports BOLD Justice (Broward Organized Leaders Doing Justice) since it began over five years ago. In that time we have achieved the building of 2,322 units of affordable rental housing, a home ownership mortgage modification workshop that helped 3,544 families, an expansion of Drug Counts throughout Florida serving 2,000 people and saving $98 million tax dollars, helped streamline the unemployment registration process so that people got their benefits faster, and a pilot reading program which is helping 300 students through Direct Instruction. We are working toward this reading program being implemented in more schools and the provision of a preference for Broward County residents to be hired for jobs that our local government contract for. Thanks to all of you who have been supporters because you are shareholders or part owners when you invested in work of justice in Broward County through BOLD Justice.

It’s time again to think about Summer Camp! We are going as a group on a bus July 1-6 and the price is $390. Youth and their parents must fill out a registration form and scholarship form with all lines completed for the youth to be able to go or get aid. Please see Pastor David for more details.

Prayer Concerns: to find CoolJay the dog of Sharon in Orlando, for Flori’s mom to heal after fall and for her niece Lorna, Darian recovering from burns, Raverly still celebrating her birthday with friends and family having surprised her with a party, for Lena and others becoming unemployed, for Jeannie and A.J. with colds, praise for Jessica’s meeting in St. Thomas going well and for her sister Jessima as she moves in the Air Force, for Ina’s brother Joseph, for Keisha being well, for the miracle of Brin being able to heal, Lucy is thankful for the years she has been able to love and praise.
