Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
Today, the Youth Fellowship will go to see the new movie “Risen” which tells the story of a Roman officer trying to make sense of the resurrection story. Please meet at church at 6:00 p.m. to travel out together or come directly to Regal Westfork Stadium 13 at 15977 West Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines (954-430-2566). The movie begins at 7:10 p.m. Adults ages 12 to 60 cost $10.59, children 3-11 cost $7.09, seniors 60+ $7.62. The theatre is about 10 miles from the church, just west of I-75, near Costco, NW 160 Ave./Dykes Rd.
Please remember the family of our church brother Ivor Stewart who passed away at age 91 in a nursing home in Jamaica. His funeral will be held February 21, 2016 at the Bents Funeral Home in Top Hill, St Elizabeth, Jamaica at 12:30pm (cremation follows). There will be a celebration service for those in the U.S. on Sunday March 27 at 4:00 p.m. at Destiny Memorial Chapel, 1450 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, 33068.
