Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN -BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.
If you know any person currently undergoing chemotherapy there is a cleaning service that provides free housecleaning once per month while they are in treatment. All they have to do is sign up and have their doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. “Cleaning for a Reason” will have a participating maid service in their zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these persons. Be a blessing to someone and pass this info along: http://www.cleaningforareason.org.
Here's a gift idea for the youth in your life! If they are thinking of going to summer camp next year our group would be hoping to go July 4-9 and early in the new year we need to send in our registrations and scholarship forms. Why not give them the gift of the registration fee of $75 or even sponsor an additional amount to help them pay for the total camp fee of $380? See Pastor David or Fay Harley for how you can do this.
The president of MUMW Val Christie, is inviting as many members as possible to a meeting in the library immediately following the service today. There are issues to be addressed prior to the January 3rd meeting of Admin Council.
Please consider making an investment in BOLD Justice through the Mission Wreath.
We need volunteers to read a scripture at the Lessons and Carols service on Christmas Eve at 7:30 p.m. If you can do so please talk to Donna Simms for your reading.
Pastor David will resume the Alpha Course on Wednesday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. created for those who would like to explore the meaning of the Christian faith. Especially good for adults thinking of joining the church but it is open to everyone. The Alpha, held all over the world, covers these topics: How Can I Resist Evil? Why and How Should We Tell Others? Does God Heal Today? What About the Church? How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?
Please remember you can dedicate bulletins to the memory or honor of a loved one for a minimum contribution of only $10.
