Bulletins today are given by Mazie Fraser in honor of her mother, Maud’s 100th birthday, and by Carla Williamson in honor of her daughter Maya’s 1st birthday!
Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you as our guest during and after the service.
Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.
Please note that Prayer Meeting this evening is at Lars Clunie’s house.
Supplies in the Food Pantry are depleted. We need items from all the food groups, especially tuna, sardines, and other canned fish and meats. We have a good supply of canned green beans, but all other canned vegetables are welcome.
You are welcome to join with the family and friends of Maya Moulton after service (11:00) for some refreshments in honor of her birthday!
The UMW’s annual Cookie Dough sale will take place September 22 to October 10. We look forward to your whole hearted support.
Sunday, September 7 is “Commission Sunday” for BOLD Justice. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the 8:30 service for a continental breakfast and information on this very meaningful ministry. Bring a friend to service! There will be a House Meeting after the 11:00 a.m. service. If you usually attend the later service but want to join us for the 8:30 meeting, please feel free to do so.
Please look for the United Methodist News Review Article on BOLD Justice posted on the bulletin boards near the church office.
Vacation time is here but the church still needs your contribution.
Please don’t forget your regular giving during the traveling days of summer--and Thank You!
Pre-School: We reopened for regular classes Monday, August 18. Enrollment continues all year; the Toddlers one year old classroom is full but there are a few spots still available in other age groups.
