Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

The Spiritual Enrichment Retreat of the United Methodist Women takes place September 13-15 2013 at the Life Enrichment Center, Fruitland Park, FL. Registration deadline is August 24 and the cost is $140 per adult per room, double occupancy. Please call the church office for more information if you would like to attend.

Thank God for summer time! However, the church’s bills still need to be paid. If we all work together to keep our tithes and offerings up we will have a smooth summer and be able to give God the glory for the things he has helped us do with the youth in VBS and camp and ... so much more.

News From BOLD Justice: We are starting a new season of doing justice. One of our team leaders listed below will be calling you to attend a house meeting. BOLD Justice is continuing to support placing the Direct Instruction reading program into our elementary schools and also passing a local job ordinance with the preference for Broward County residents to be hired for jobs our local government contracts for. Our team leaders are: Roland Abel, Joyce Hemmans, Jeannie Grossman, and Gwen Pickering. Be willing to help BOLD Justice continue to do social justice by answering the call.

Prayer Concerns: A.J.’s pinched nerve to not need surgery, Beatrice as she moves to N.J., Clyde celebrating health improvements and for trip to PA, Florie for the joy of seeing and helping mother and for her sister, for football and other sports play, for Semone as she pursues her good job, Eula praising God for prayer working amazingly for Dad, praise God for the success of the Tea Party and for the energy to smile and see how good it is to see the kids working, for Lucy, Phyllis, Alvin, Greta and others who are shut in, for Kim as she begins an overwhelming job, for Laura praising God she is back, for the Douglas family as they mourn Merritt’s passing, for the family of Jonathan Howell at his passing, for Susan Cuesta to recover from car accident, for Nick Smith as he travels back Thursday, for Julia not to reject her heart transplant, for Phyllis Saunders, for Deborah, Lewis and Linval that God will bless them with a job, George and Louise, health and healing, for Charles Robinson with his mother and sister, for Kelsey, T.t. and all the children, Michelle and Jorge healing.
