Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and
tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors.
The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
Prayer concerns from last week: For the country of Colombia that has too much rain, and so many places in the world that do not have enough rain, Sebastian & wife and baby, Randy’s health, Jonathan as he may re-locate, Edie’s sister Bonnie fighting cancer, Jeannie’s friends Marvin, Shirley, Betty, Virginia, Gio’s grandmother who suffered a stroke, joy for Christopher Dorsett who made the honor roll, Wenham and Deborah as they travel home, the family of the Broward student in hospice, celebrating Bold Justice successes in the state legislature with hopes for a bill on Civil Citations we be passed and signed by the governor, those going to Bold Justice training in Orlando, for the United Way director to speak with the research committee, for Vinessa and family as they remember her father’s passing one year ago as she is thankful for the support received, Donna’s neighbor’s surgery, Colleen Whyte thankful for the care of Joyce Hemmans and Natalie Stewart and family during her time of healing, Kawaine Codner and family as they celebrate his graduation in Tallahassee, for all to recognize children and youth as the “future now” who will change our world, celebrating Sharon Allen’s big contribution to the Earth Day program at Fairway Park by teaching how to prepare healthy meals, celebrating the United Methodist Men’s commitment to clean Utopia Drive and Tarpon Drive and having street signs acknowledge our community-mindedness, Mabel Bizzell, Catherine Wheedleton, Roger Pierce, Dexter Kelly especially as he gave his first sermon, peace around the world, Tavon, Roger, Peaches, Angie’s family and friends, the persecuted church, marginalized, dispossessed, downtrodden, displaced, the terrorized and the terrorists, Val, Pam, Dexter, Alethea, Sharon, Joan, Denese, Dorothy and all those working under stressful situations, God’s light shining in the world, Melba Smith, Sharon’s health, peace, love, tolerance, compassion, for school’s state tests, Bob Torrene, traveling mercies for Martha, Flori, and Bettyanne.
